A special video show has been held for the year 3 students of Ishida Kindergarten; who watched the video up at the third floor room. This show was made available for all private preschools in the Kyoto area.

The show was a fun event that could be shared by many different schools at the same time. This could provide students with a change from the usual activities that happen at each school.

Students were able to listen to some presentations, and then join in with various activities and dances. There was music, a finger-play game, and some dances.

One dance was the gunya-gunya beat, where students had to wobbly and wave different parts of their bodies (fingers, arms, shoulders, legs, whole body) in a limp-limbed manner.

There was also the presentation of a gift to the Governor of Kyoto Prefecture, who received a craft cherry blossom display – designed like the blossom from the famous weeping cherry trees.

All the students from the Lion and the Tsubaki classes will receive a colouring book and some flower seeds as a present following the event.

(石田幼稚園で，年長を対象とした中央園児大会のビデオ鑑賞会を行いました。石田幼稚園の３階で鑑賞です。中央園児大会は，京都の私立幼稚園に向けて行われました。

この会は，同時にたくさんの園が視聴することができる楽しい会でした。この会は子どもたちにとって，普段の活動とは異なる雰囲気を味わえたことと思います。
