Planting Morning Glory Seeds.
Today, Lion class students and Tsubaki class students have been planting morning glory seeds in the school yard.
They each received their own green flower pot with their name written on its front side.
A certain set of tasks then had to be carefully followed in the correct order.
Firstly, they lined the bottom of the pots with tissue paper, and then added one scoop of sand from the yard.
Next, they filled the pot (up to a line) with soil. Five holes were made with a finger, and a seed was planted in each hole.
Finally, the holes were gently covered over with soil, and a sprinkle of sand was put on the top.
The flower pots are now all lined up in the yard. Each morning, the helper students will take turns to water the seeds with a watering can.
We are all looking forward to see the morning glory plants grow, and to see their beautiful flowers.
The students will be able to take the plants home when they have grown up tall and strong!

（今日，ライオン組とつばき組の子どもたちは，朝顔の種まきを行いました。子どもたちには，それぞれ自分の名前が書かれた鉢植えがあります。
種を植える際は，注意深く順を追って行わなければなりませんでした。まず初めに，鉢植えの底にティッシュペーパーを敷き，スコップで１～２掬い土を入れました。次に，鉢植えの内側の線まで土を入れ，指で５つの穴を開けて，種をそれぞれに入れました。そして最後に，穴の上に優しく土を被せて，一番上に砂を振りかけました。
子どもたちの鉢植えは，園庭に並べてあります。毎朝，お当番さんに交代で水やりを行ってもらいますよ。
私たちはみんな，朝顔が生長して，美しい花を咲かせてくれることを楽しみにしています。
朝顔が大きく生長した頃には，みんなお家に持って帰られますよ！
