Tonight, the children in the Year 3 (Tsubaki) class  have stayed overnight at Ishida Kindergarten.

They arrived on Saturday in the early afternoon, and they will return home on Sunday morning.

The teachers arranged lots of activities for the students to participate in.

They could swim in the pool, play with super-balls in water, and decorate a craft fan. We also prepared curry for everyone’s dinner. The children helped out by chopping up some of the vegetables. At the end of the evening we had a camp fire, and a show performed by teachers – the Ishida Rangers! The evening concluded with a colourful firework display.

My favourite part was the haunted house. This was held on the third floor of the school. Some of the teachers played scary characters. I was a ghost with an illuminated red face. Some of the children were rather frightened to enter this spooky room!

It was an enjoyable time for all the students and teachers. I hope they all had an evening to remember!!

 

(今夜は年長のつばき組がお泊り保育のため石田幼稚園に泊まっています。

子どもたちは土曜日のお昼に幼稚園に到着して、日曜日の朝にお家に帰ります。

先生たちは子どもたちのためにたくさんの活動を考えていました。

プール遊びをしたり、スーパーボールすくいをしたり、うちわを飾り付けたりしました。

さらに夕食にカレー作りもしましたよ。

子どもたちは野菜を切ってくれました。

夜にはキャンプファイヤーをして、先生たちによる石田レンジャーSHOWも見ました。

そして夜の部はカラフルな花火で締めくくられました。

 

私が一番楽しんだのはお化け屋敷です。

幼稚園の３階で行われ、先生たちが怖いお化けになって怖がらせるのです。

私は赤く照らされた顔のお化けになりました。

何人かの子どもたちはこの奇妙な部屋に入ることをとても怖がっていました。

子どもたちにとっても先生にとっても楽しい時間となりました。

子どもたちみんなの思い出に残る夜になりますように！）
