I would like to wish all our students and their families a very happy New Year. Hopefully 2019 will be a successful year, bringing health and happiness to everyone.

Did you enjoy the winter holiday and the celebrations for the beginning of the New Year? I assume that most people spent a pleasant time with their friends and relatives.

I have only just taken down the Christmas decorations at my home. This task should be completed before midnight of the 6th. Of course, in Japan they are usually removed by the night of December 25th, and then replaced by traditional items for the New Year.

Tomorrow will be the first day of the new school term for all of our students. Many of them will be so excited to see their friends again. Let’s hope that the pupils will have a great time during the final term!

冬休みと新年のお祝いを楽しみましたか？みなさんが親戚や友達とかけがえのない時間を過ごされたことと思います。

私はちょうどクリスマス飾りを片付けたところです。飾りは６日の深夜には片付けなければいけません。

もちろん日本では２５日の夜に片付けて、そこにお正月飾りを置きますよね。

明日は始業式です。たくさんの子どもはお友達に会えることを楽しみにしていることでしょう。

最後の学期が生徒にとって素晴らしいものになるように祈りましょう。）
