We have been making snails as a part of craft time.

Snails are included in one of this month’s topics – the rainy season.

The children have produced both paper pictures and clay models.

The paper craft was made by gluing paper circles and L-shapes

into a page of their colour paper pads.

They could then use crayons to draw on extra details; such as eyes, mouths,

and spirals on their shells.

The clay models were created by rolling clay into long pieces,

and then rolling it into a spiral shape.

It is a little difficult to make a spiral!

Snails are very interesting creatures. I think that the children’s crafts are also very interesting!!

Anpanman made an appearance, too!!

 

（制作の時間にかたつむりを作っていました。

かたつむりは今月のトピックである「梅雨」にもはいっています。

子どもたちは画用紙と粘土の両方でつくりました。

画用紙の制作は丸とL字の形の画用紙を糊付けして作っていて、制作帳に貼り付けました。

そしてかたつむりの目や口、殻の模様などをクレパスで描きました。

粘土のかたつむりは長く伸ばした粘土をくるくるっと巻いて、殻にして作りました。

くるくるっと巻くのは少し難しかったですね。

かたつむりはとても興味深い生き物ですが、子どもたちが作ったかたつむりもとても興味深いですよ！

ちなみにアンパンマンもできちゃいました！）
