Here are the pictures that the International class produced to help them

learn the English words for wild animals.

In May, we focused on some of the main wild animals that are popular with children.

The students were asked to draw a lake, river, and trees.

They then had to listen to the teacher and select the correct animal sticker that was said.

They could then place the sticker where they considered it appropriate.

We have been studying monkeys, pandas, koalas, elephants, hippos, snakes, gorillas,

giraffes, lions, tigers, crocodiles, bears, penguins, kangaroos, and zebras.

What animals can you see?

What’s that? ……….. It’s a [tiger].

How many monkeys are there? ………. There are [___] monkeys.

What colour is the elephant? ………. It’s [_____].

５月は子どもたちに人気の動物を主に取り組みました。

 

子どもたちは画用紙にお池や川、木などを描き、先生が言った動物を聞き取ってそのシールを探します。

そして自分が描いた自然の中から動物がいそうだと思うところに貼りました。

子どもたちはサルやパンダ、コアラ、ゾウ、カバ、ヘビ、ゴリラ、キリン、ライオン、

トラ、ワニ、クマ、ペンギン、カンガルー、シマウマを学びました。
