Do you like flowers?

The children in the first year have been colouring a page in their colouring books.

There are three flowers and two insects in each picture.

Can you name the insects in English? It’s a ______ and a ______.

One of our students was colouring a flower’s petals in yellow,

and had nearly completed all of them.

She suddenly noticed that another student was colouring every petal of

the same flower in different colours.

This looked attractive to her, so she also wanted to do the same.

She turned to the teachers, pointed to the yellow petals, and said: “Who did that?”.

We both replied: “You did it!”

She then tried to change some of the yellow ones to different colours;

but in the end kept most of them yellow.

Both pictures looked fantastic when completed!!

 

（みなさんお花は好きですか？

年少組のお友達はいろぬり遊びを楽しんでいます。

今回のページには３つのお花と２匹の虫がいました。

この２匹の虫を英語で言えますか？「It’s a 〇〇 and a 〇〇」（イッツ　ア　〇〇　エンド　ア　〇〇）

 

一人のお友達がお花の花びらを黄色に塗っていて、もうすぐ全部を塗り終わるところでした。

そこで突然そのお友達は、他のお友達がすべての花びらを違う色で塗っていることに気づきました。

それがとても素敵だったようで、同じようにしたくなったようです。

そしてそのお友達は先生の方を向いて、自分の黄色のお花を指さして聞きました。

「誰がこれ塗ったの…？」って。

「あなたでしょ！」と、先生たちは思わず声をそろえて答えました。

それからそのお友達は黄色の花びらを違う色に塗り替えようと頑張っていましたが、やっぱり最後には黄色のお花が出来上がりました。

どのお花もとても素敵な仕上がりでした♪）
