Recently, Rabbit Class enjoyed playing in the sandbox with our flip-flops! The weather is nice and warm and summer is finally here, so we decided to try playing with water in the sandbox. It was really muddy, so first we needed to change into our flip-flops, so our outside shoes don’t get dirty. We filled up some buckets with water and practiced scooping out the water with cups and adding it to the sand to make mud! We built castles and big mountains, dug deep holes and even walked around with our bare feet! The texture was very interesting! Some of us even tried burying our feet in the sand! We also were able to share the toys nicely, because it’s definitely more fun to enjoy things together with our friends.

（最近，Rabbit組ではゴム草履を履いて砂場遊びを楽しんでいます！天気が良くて暖かく，夏ももうすぐですね。そこで，砂場でお水を使て遊ぶことにしました。とてもぬかるんでいるので，靴が汚れないようにゴム草履に履き替える必要がありました。バケツに入ったお水をカップですくって運び，砂に加えて泥を作ります！お城や大きな山を作ったり，大きな穴を掘ったり，素足で歩き回ったりしましたよ！とても面白い感触でした！砂の中に足を埋めてみたお友だちもいましたよ！また、友だちと一緒に遊ぶ方が絶対に楽しいので、おもちゃをうまくシェアすることもできましたよ。）

After a really exciting time in the sandbox, it was time to go back to Rabbit Class for lunch. We made lines and practiced washing our legs and feet in the water before drying them with a towel and getting changed into our uniform. Because it was very hot outside we made sure to drink tea before and after. It was really fun and I can’t wait to play in the sandbox with water again next time!

（砂場で楽しい時間を過ごしていると、給食の時間が近づいてきました。お部屋に帰って着替える前に、順番にたらいに貯めた水で足を洗う練習をしました。その後，タオルで手足を拭きました。外はとても暑かったので、砂場遊びの前後にお茶をしっかり飲みましたよ。とても楽しかったので、次回また砂場で遊ぶのが待ち遠しいです！）
