Throughout the year in Rabbit Class, we have not only been learning how to speak English, but also how to write in English! That means first learning how to write the alphabet. Today, let’s take a look at Rabbit Class learning how to write the letter “Q” during our English Time!

First we do a short line practice related to the letter, which can include writing curves, hooks, loops and other types of line. Then we make sure we know the difference between the big and small letters, as well as how to pronounce the letter. We first write the letters with a guide, but after we get the hang of it, we challenge ourselves by writing the letters all by ourselves without a guide.

Next, we have a special challenge of circling the correct letter in a big mix of other letters of the alphabet! We have to make sure not to get confused with other similar looking letters, so we make sure we are able to tell the difference between other English letters.

Recently, we have not only been writing our first name in English, but now we are practicing how to write our full name in English! We have had such a fun time learning English this year in Rabbit Class and are very excited to learn even more when we go to Bear Class!
