Recently in Rabbit Class we have started growing our own flowers! We planted two types of flowers; tulips and grape hyacinths. We learned about how flowers grow from seeds, and how they need water and sunlight to grow big, strong and healthy. After digging holes in the soil, we all took turns to plant our seeds and cover it with soil. After that, we took it in turns to water the flowers so they can grow big and strong! We were able to practice teamwork and taking turns. We also learned a lot about flowers and plants, and the many different types of flowers we can see in our daily life, as well as how to talk about flowers in English. From now on, it is our daily helpers’ responsibility to get the watering cans and water the flowers every day (when it isn’t raining). We are all incredibly excited to watch how our seeds grow, and see when they bloom into beautiful flowers in a couple of months from now.
