Recently, it was the first day of the new school year, and that means we have a new group of students joining the Rabbit Class! First, our friends from Tulip Class came to join us. It was very exciting to be in a new classroom with new decorations and toys, and while some of us were quite nervous, we were able to settle in smoothly and have fun with our friends and teachers.

Next, our friends who are freshly joining Ishida Preschool came to the Rabbit Class for the first time after the Entrance Ceremony! Some of us were very nervous, but we quickly settled in and enjoyed playing with our new toys and our new friends.

For our first proper day as Rabbit Class, we all had a tour of Ishida Preschool and the playground. We made sure to line up nicely and listen to our teachers as they explained the different rooms and rules around the preschool. We now know where everything is and are much more comfortable in our new environment.

Next was the tour of the playground! We are all so excited to play outside, but before that there are a few rules, or “promises” we need to learn. Some of the equipment outside can be slightly dangerous without the supervision of a teacher, so we made sure to always ask permission and make sure a teacher is around when using certain equipment.

After listening very closely to our teacher, we had a few minutes for free play time outside! The weather was really nice and it was super exciting to play with our new friends. After we finished playing, it was time to go to the toilet, drink some tea, and get ready for home or home class. I think this will be a very fun and interesting year full of wonderful memories and new experiences!
