November 7th, of 2023, the Rabbit Class, together with the other younger classes, Tanpopo Class and Tulip Class, went on their second field trip this year to go acorn picking in Kitabori park. It was a fine day and everyone seemed to be very excited to go. When we arrived at the location, the first thing that we did was to take a class photo in front of the entrance of the park. As we entered the park, we were all captivated by the amazing view of the Momoyama castle. We then started strolling around the park to go acorn picking. Students started picking up acorns one by one along the way. We found acorns of different sizes and looks- long, short, big, small, capped, “twins” and even “triplets”. Apart from acorns, students also took home some flowers and leaves that they found interesting.

（今月7日に、Rabbit組、たんぽぽ組、チューリップ組の子どもたちは、どんぐりや落ち葉を拾うために北堀公園へ行きました。年少組にとっては今年２回目の遠足です。とても天気が良い日で、みんなとてもわくわくしていました。

到着後、まず入口でクラス写真を撮りました。そして公園に入ると、桃山城の素晴らしい眺めに魅了されました。その後、どんぐりを拾うために公園の散策を始めました。子どもたちはその途中でどんぐりをひとつひとつ拾い始めました。長いもの、短いもの、大きいもの、小さいもの、帽子をかぶったもの、“双子”や“三つ子”まで、さまざまな大きさや見た目のどんぐりを見つけました。どんぐりの他にも、花や落ち葉なども拾いましたよ。）
