Happy Valentine’s Day from Rabbit Class! Today we decided to do a special Valentine’s Day craft…we made origami love hearts and magic wands!

After following Masumi Sensei’s instructions, we were able to make beautiful heart shapes with red or pink coloured paper, but that wasn’t everything! We turned our love hearts into magic wands so we can show our love to the people who are important to us.

Compared to the beginning of the year, we are now able to make much more difficult and complicated origami crafts. We are all so proud of the progress we have made!

After playing with our crafts with our friends, we all sat down and spoke about Valentine’s Day. We now know that Valentine’s Day is a special day for us to tell the people around us who are important to us that we love them. Today we are going to tell our friends, family, teachers and everyone else who cares about us and is important to us; “I love you!”.
