We have just finished setting up the pool and everybody knows what it means. It is that time of the year where students get to enjoy swimming with their friends and teachers. In order to prepare the kids for the pool time, students need to get used to using something— their flip-flops. To accomplish that, we, the teachers, have decided to let our students play in the sandbox with their flip-flops/barefoot.

But it is not their usual sandbox play time because we incorporate water in their playtime to make it more fun and interesting.Some students dug holes. Some made mountains, rivers, and pools. Some made desserts. And others made mudballs.

（普段の砂遊びとは違って，砂場に水を入れるとより楽しく，より興味深い遊びになります。穴を掘ったり，山や川，プール，砂漠を作ったりして楽しみました。泥団子を作ったお友だちもいましたよ。）

Although this activity might get really messy, but it sure is fun!

（泥遊びでは手足や服は汚れてしまいますが，とっても楽しいのは確かですよ！）
