Last October 30th was a very fun and scary day for us at school. We had our Halloween celebration!

Before the big day, we made our very own black cat bags for trick or treating. They looked so cool and cute-and a little spooky too!

When Halloween Day finally came, we were all so excited. We went to the Rabbit Classroom and together with the Rabbit Class, we sang songs, talked about what Halloween means, and listened to our teachers explaining the rules of trick-or-treating. We had to remember to say “Knock, knock, knock! Trick or treat!” nicely and say, “Thank you!” after getting some stickers.

Then, we were divided into four groups and started our trick-or-treat adventures! We visited three different locations at the second floor (the Bear, Lion, and Calligraphy Classrooms) that were prepared by our Lion Class friends who were dressed up as monsters- but friendly ones! We went together with the Rabbit Class, and since we were one year older than them, we helped them like big brothers and sisters. Some of them were a little scared but we held their hands and made sure everyone got their stickers.

After visiting the “monsters” spots, we gathered in the hall. But guess what, three teachers were dressed up as monsters too- scary ones! Everyone screamed and were really scared. Others just laughed. our friends in the Bear Class got a bit scared and started crying. But we got a little relieved when the monsters took off their masks and realized they were just Chris, Dom, and James senseis.

Lastly, we took a big group photo with everyone. But our Halloween fun didn’t end there! We planned a surprise scare for Dom sensei. We all hid quietly inside our classroom, wearing Halloween hats and masks. When Dom sensei came in, Boo! We all jumped out and scared him! He looked so surprised and scared.

It was such a fun and spooky day. A memorable moment indeed! I can’t wait for the next Halloween!
