Today was the first day of the Rabbit class. The students are learning how the classroom works and where to put their belongings. This year we have five boys, so it should be a lot of fun. They got along together very well and I can already tell they will be great friends. We sang a good-morning song in English and they seem to love music and dancing.

We had some free-play time and they enjoyed using building blocks, playing with balls and doing puzzles. They are very curious and we made a big mess with all the toys! Together we cleaned up quickly and everyone helped.

After some tea and a toilet break, we had our first English lesson. This month’s topic is color so they are learning the names of colors and some basic questions like, “what color do you like?” or “what color is it?” Overall, they did very well and I am excited to spend more time teaching them.

（今日はラビット組の初日でした。子どもたちは幼稚園での過ごし方や持ち物の始末の仕方を学びました。

今年は５人の男の子がいますので楽しくなるでしょう。みんなすぐに仲良くなって，いいお友達になるだろうなと思いました。

朝の歌を英語で歌ったのですが，みんな歌やダンスが大好きなようです。

自由遊びの時間にはブロック遊びやボール遊び，パズルを楽しみました。

みんなとても興味津々で部屋中をおもちゃだらけにしました。

お片付けの時はみんなで素早くできました。

お茶タイムとトイレの後に初めての英語あそびの時間を設けました。

今月のトピックは【色】で色の名前や「何色が好きですか？」や「これは何色ですか？」などのようなベーシックな質問を学んでいきます。全体的にみんなとてもよくできましたし，今後の保育が楽しみです。
