At Ishida Kindergarten we currently have two regular bus drivers. They drive the three school buses that we have here – the red bus, the purple bus, and the yellow bus.

Even though they are bus drivers, they undertake many tasks at the school. They organize the garage and its contents, do lots of repairs within the school, help with the care and safety of the children, do gardening and general cleaning, as well as helping out at events.

They are very friendly and helpful gentlemen. They always try their best in helping to make Ishida a wonderful school for all the children and the teachers that are here.

Today, the students of the International class were watching the drivers cover a drainage ditch that runs by the side of our classroom. This task was to prevent leaves from filling up inside the ditch, and to make it safer to walk along the side path. The children were impressed by their hard work, and said: “Do your best!”, and “Thank you” to them.

We are very lucky to have such great bus drivers at Ishida Kindergarten.

（石田幼稚園には現在2名の運転手さんがいます。

運転手さんは赤バス、紫バス、黄バスの3コースを運転しています。

お二人は「運転手」ですが、幼稚園で様々なことをしてくれます。

ガレージを整理したり、園内のいろいろな修理をしたり、子どもの安全を気にかけて面倒を見てくださったりします。

お二人は気さくで頼りになる方々です。いつもここにいる子どもや先生のために素敵な幼稚園づくりを頑張ってくれています。

今日、インターナショナルクラスの子どもたちは運転手さんが保育室の外に通っている排水溝の蓋をつけているのを見ていました。

これは落ち葉が詰まらないようにするためや、通路を安全に通れるようにするためです。

子どもたちは一生懸命な運転手さんたちに感動して、「頑張って！」や「ありがとう」と言いました。

私たちはこのような素敵な運転手さんがいてくれてとても幸せです。）
