As you may already know, Happyokai is coming soon. It will be on Saturday, February 15th. There will be a number of performances for you to enjoy. The types of performances include shows, songs, instrumental performances, and speeches.

Today, all Ishida Kindergarten classes rehearsed in preparation for Happyokai Day. Each class performed their shows for one another. In English, a “show” is a nice term for any performance that happens on a stage. We can also use the term “musical,” as there is a lot of music and singing in our shows. A “play” is a type of show generally without any singing, only acting.

Overall, I thought the shows were very well done. The students did a great job speaking in a big voice. They all looked very cute in their costumes. There are many funny and exciting moments waiting for you.

It was a nice experience to practice performing in front of an audience. The students also did quite well paying attention to the other classes’ performances.

Luckily, there was also enough time for the International students to perform their speeches! I think you will be impressed. They have worked very hard this year. I am proud of their accomplishments.

We still have one week left to prepare. I know in the Rabbit class, we will be working to refine our speech pronunciation. Wish us luck!

Happyokai Day will be February 15th and will begin at 10:00 AM. I look forward to seeing you there!

（ご存知の通り，発表会はもうすぐです。２月１５日。たくさんの発表を楽しんでいただけるでしょう。発表には劇や歌，楽器の演奏やスピーチがあります。

今日，石田幼稚園の全クラスは発表会の準備で予行練習をしました。全クラス一つずつ劇の発表をしました。英語では，「show」という言葉が舞台上のすべての発表を表すいい言葉でしょう。また，たくさんの音楽や歌が入っていたので「ミュージカル」という言葉も使えますね。「play」という言葉は一般的に歌がなく，演技だけのものです。

総じて，発表はとても上手だったと思います。子ども達は大きな声で話し，衣装姿がとてもかわいかったです。たくさんのおもしろく楽しい瞬間が待っていますよ。

お客さんの前で発表の練習ができたのはいい経験でした。また，子ども達は他のクラスをきちんと見ました。

幸運にも，インターコースのスピーチをする時間もいただきました！みなさん感動すると思いますよ。今年子ども達はとても一生懸命取り組みました。みんなが達成したことを誇りに思います。

まだあと１週間あります。ラビット組ではスピーチの発音をさらに磨くつもりです。検討を祈ってください！

発表会は２月１５日１０時開始です。お会いできることを楽しみにしています！
