The graduation ceremony for the year 3 students took place today. Tsubaki class will shortly be leaving Ishida kindergarten and will then be starting at new elementary schools. This is one of the next steps that children take as they proceed through their education days. It is always emotional when children leave a school after attending for three or four years. Teachers regularly see their students for five days in most weeks of the year, and thus form close bonds. But we are always happy to see them grow and progress on to the next stage of their lives. They are continually gaining strength, building skills, and accumulating knowledge.

We had been practicing for the graduation day. Even so, it was so good to see the mature way that they handled the procedures at the ceremony. Well done to everyone! Let’s have an enjoyable time for the final two school days of this year! I am sure that the graduating students will look back fondly on their time at Ishida kindergarten. We hope that they will come to visit us again in the forthcoming months and years.

（本日は年長組の卒園式でした。つばき組は石田幼稚園を巣立ち，新しい小学校生活が始まります。

これは子どもたちが通る教育の次のステップです。３年間や４年間通った子どもたちが巣立っていくのはいつも感動的です。先生はほとんどの週の５日間子どもたちと会っていて，それが絆を生んでいます。しかし私たちは子どもの成長と彼らが人生の次のステップへ進む様子を見られるので幸せです。子どもたちはこれからも強くなり，たくさんのことができるようになり，知識を蓄えていきます。

在園児は卒園式に向けて練習を重ねてきました。そうであっても，式での順序をきちんとこなす様子が見られて良かったです。みなさんよく頑張りました！今年度の残り二日を楽しい時間にしましょう。

卒園児のみんなはきっと石田幼稚園での日々を思い返すでしょう。先生達はみんながまた遊びに来てくれる日を楽しみにしていますよ。
