The students of Ishida Kindergarten have been participating in a Game Land role-playing activity.

The oldest children of the school – Lion and Tsubaki classes – prepared six different games for the event. They also acted as the hosts for each game, so that children from other classes could play as customers. Everyone carried a wallet containing paper money that they could pretend to pay out for individual games.

There were six games in total: a ring toss at frogs, a fishing game, a shooting dinosaurs game, a bowling game, an arm wrestling game, and a tambourine rhythm game.

The arm wrestling and tambourine games were difficult; so only year 3 students played these two games.

Students in the Lion class tried hard to introduce the games in English to other International course students, as well as to use Japanese to students on the Japanese courses.

Everyone had such fun playing the games. They seemed ever so excited to participate in this event.

I was really pleased that the children from the Lion class and the Tsubaki class did such a fantastic job of hosting the event!

（石田幼稚園の子どもたちは「ゲームランド」に参加しました。年長さん（Lion組とつばき組）の子どもたちは，６つの違うゲームを今日のために準備してきました。そしてそれぞれのゲームのお店の人となり，他のクラスの子どもたちはお客さんになりました。みんなお財布を持ち，ゲームをするためにお金を払いました。

かえるの輪投げ，魚釣り，恐竜のシューティングゲーム，ボウリング，腕相撲，そしてタンバリンのリズムゲーム，の６つのゲームがありました。

腕相撲とリズムゲームは難しかったので，年長さん同士で遊びました。

Lion組の子どもたちはインターコースのお友だちには英語，そして日本語コースのお友だちには日本語で，ゲームの遊び方を頑張って説明していましたよ。

みんなゲーム遊びをとても楽しんでいました。とってもワクワクしていたように見えましたよ。

年長さんの子どもたちが「ゲームランド」を主催するという素晴らしいことをしてくれて，本当にうれしかったです！
