Emergency Practice
On Friday, all the students of Ishida Kindergarden participated in an emergency practice on the buses. This is to prepare them to quickly escape from a vehicle in case of an accident.
Students from Tulip, Tanpopo, Rabbit, Tsubaki, and Lion classes had their practice at 10:10. The Momo and Bear classes had theirs a little later at 11:00 – due to them having their sports class at the earlier time.
The children had to line up and then board the bus. After everyone was seated, they waited for the order to escape from the bus. All students had to exit from the emergency rear door, and keep clear of the engine. Teachers helped them down as it is quite a long distance to the ground.
Everyone did a great job of this practice. The students were orderly, quiet, and quickly followed the instructions given to them.
I was impressed to see their good behaviour.

（先週の金曜日に，みんなでバスの避難訓練に参加しました。もしも事故が起こってしまったときに，バスから素早く逃げるための練習です。
チューリップ組，たんぽぽ組，ラビット組，つばき組，そしてライオン組は10時10分から行いました。もも組とベア組は10時から体操教室があったので，11時から始めました。
子ども達は玄関の前で並んでから，一人ずつ順番にバスに乗りました。みんなが座席に座った後，先生のお話を聞き，避難の合図を待ちました。合図が鳴ったら，後ろの非常ドアから降り，バスから離れたところに避難してクラスごとに整列しました。高いところから降りるので，先生達に手伝ってもらいながら避難しました。
みんなとてもよく頑張っていました。先生のお話をよく聞いて，一人ずつ順番に，静かに，そして素早く行動していました。そんな子ども達の行動に感動しました。
