Drawing Books, Crayons & Pens.
Today, in the Lion class, the students have been reviewing the rules of how to use their drawing books.
They learnt how to turn to the correct page, starting from the front of the book, and then how to use each page in following order. Crayons, or colour pens, should be positioned on the right side of their books, and all items should be put away neatly after use.
We also explained how to make use of each page with neat drawings, and to use as much of the space as possible. It is important not to just scribble on page after page, or to just start at random pages of the book!
The students then drew a range of different lines, firstly using crayons, and secondly using colour pens.
They had to make the following types of lines in specific colours: straight lines, wavey lines, zig-zag lines, dashed lines, dashed & dotted lines, and spirals.
Everyone tried hard to follow the correct rules and to produce neat lines.
They all did a great job, and will certainly gain in neatness and speed through the year.

（今日ライオンクラスでは，自由画帳の使い方を再確認する活動を行いました。
再確認した内容は，自由画帳を使用する際は，最初のページから順番に使用していくということです。またクレヨンやカラーペンを使用する際は，利き手側にクレヨンやカラーペンを置くこと，片付ける際は丁寧に片付けるということも確認しました。
さらに自由画帳は，丁寧に使用して，できる限りたくさんの絵を描いてから新しいページを使用するということも確認しました。走り描きをしたり，ランダムに空いているページに描いたりしないことが大切です！
自由画帳の確認を終えた後に，最初にクレヨン、そしてカラーペンを使用して，様々な線を描きました。子どもたちは、先生から言われた色のクレヨン・カラーペンを手に取り，線を描きました。線の種類は，直線・並々線・ジグザグ線・長い線と短い線の組み合わせ・点と線の組み合わせ・グルグル線です。
子どもたちは，全員きまりを守って丁寧な線を描くことが出来ました。とてもよく頑張った子どもたちは，これから一年を通して，さらに丁寧さとスピードを兼ねそろえられることでしょう。
ライオンクラスのお友だち，よく頑張りましたね。これからもたくさん練習をして，もっともっと上達していきましょうね！
