Students from the Lion class and the Tsubaki class have been cleaning the outdoor pool in preparation for the first pool day. The two classes were divided into three teams, and each team worked on a different area of the pool.

The task was split up into the cleaning of three different areas: the inside of the pool, the outside of the pool, and the shower area.

For cleaning the pool, the students used sponges with soapy water; and for cleaning the shower area, they used brushes with soapy water.

After a certain period of time working on their allocated areas, all the teams switched around to work on a different area. This was repeated one further time, so that everyone had a go at cleaning each of the three areas.

All the students worked so hard to clean the pool. It is now ready to be enjoyed by the students during pool days later on in June and July. Pool days will start on June 27th for year 2 and year 3 students, and on June 28th for Tulip class and year 1 students.

Everyone is so excited about playing in the pool. Many of the students are eagerly awaiting these special days.

As the weather is getting so hot and sunny…..
