In April and May
Welcome to the first blog from Bear class of the 2023 school year. In April and May we have been making a lot of craft to improve our skills for using scissors, we have been practicing to use different types of cutting techniques. In April we made a pizza for the Bear class pizza party, everyone made their own original pizza.
In May we practiced making origami and we made “Koi no bori”, we then decorated each flag with our own design, everyone in Bear class has great imagination and I always look forward to seeing their new crafts and pictures.
From the start of this school year we have been focusing a lot on phonics every day in the attempt to improve everyone’s reading skills. We also like to often use the practice reading books.

（２０２３年度最初のBear組のブログです。４・５月は，はさみを上手に使えるようになる為に，様々な切り方を行い，たくさんの制作活動を行っています。４月はピザを作ってピザパーティーを行いました。子どもたちはみんなオリジナルのピザを作っていましたよ。
５月は折り紙の練習として，“こいのぼり”を制作しました。“こいのぼり”それぞれに自分たちでデザインを描きましたが，Bear組の子どもたちは素晴らしい想像力をもっています。私は常に子どもたちの新しい制作物や絵画を見られることが楽しみです。
今年度より，リーディングスキル向上の為に，フォニックスに焦点を当て，毎日練習を行っています。毎月の本も活用して，取り組んでいますよ。
