Our flowers in the school yard are now in bloom.

We planted French Marigold seeds and Zinnia seeds into the flower beds back in early June.

The children have been doing a good job of watering the flowers on a regular basis.

They use small watering cans to carry water down to the bottom of the yard.

The flower are very thirsty, so are grateful for the help given to them by the students!

In this hot weather the soil can soon get really dry, so it is important that the plants receive enough water.

The Marigolds are mainly yellow-orange in colour, and the Zinnias are a mix of red, orange, pink, and yellow colours.

These bright colours are sure to make everyone feel happy!!

（園庭のお花がついに咲きました。

マリーゴールドの種とジニアの種を6月上旬に蒔いていて、

子どもたちが小さなじょうろでお水を運んで頑張ってお水をあげていました。

お花はのどが渇いているので子どもたちにお水をもらってとても喜んでいます。

この暑い時期はすぐに土が乾くので、水やりはとても大切です。

マリーゴールドは黄色やオレンジが多いですが、ジニアは赤やオレンジ、ピンク、黄の花が混ざっています。

この鮮やかな色がみんなを幸せにすることは間違いないですね！）
